Lost Lovers Last Embrace Murder Suicide

California cops say a murder suicide explains the last embrace of lost lovers found dead in Joshua Tree national park.

Relatives had been hoping against hope to find 22-year-old Joseph Orbeso and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Rachel Nguyen, alive, but the mysteriously missing couple's bodies have finally been located.

Orbeso and Nguyen vanished in July of 2017 after the two failed to return to their AirBnB rental following a hike into Joshua Tree's wilderness, where daytime temperatures often exceed 100-degrees Fahrenheit and water is in scarce supply.

Despite a massive rescue effort that spanned several weeks, neither was ever seen nor heard from again. 

Then, on October 15th, a search party -- which included Orbeso's father -- came across the pair's remains in a remote canyon area of the park.

Their corpses were allegedly "locked in an embrace."

The team also told reporters at the time that it appeared the young couple died together from either heat exhaustion or prolonged exposure to the elements.

However, autopsies performed this week revealed one of the victims had been shot to death and the other committed suicide.

Investigators have further disclosed that unspecified "evidence" was additionally recovered "at the scene," leading them to fairly conclude that Joseph Orbeso killed Rachel Nguyen before taking his own life.

The case is still under investigation, and a motive for the murder suicide is not known yet.

Hazing Homicide Charges in LSU Frat Death of Max Gruver

Ten youths involved in the hazing homicide of LSU frat pledge Maxwell Gruver, who died mid September from alcohol poisoning after a binge ritual, were served arrest warrants this week.

Phi Delta Theta suspects, Matthew Naquin, Zachary Castillo, Patrick Forde, Elliott Eaton, Sean Gott, Hudson Kirkpatrick, Ryan Isto, Sean Pennison, Nicholas Taulli and Zachary Hall, have reportedly turned themselves in to authorities.

All of them now face criminal hazing charges and possible jail time if convicted. Accused ringleader, Naquin, however, has been additionally charged with negligent homicide for orchestrating the fatal drinking "game" that killed LSU freshman Maxwell Gruver of Roswell Georgia.

Prosecutors say the 10 defendants abandoned the 18-year-old after he passed out from drinking excessively in their fraternity house, and that, by the time they did take their "unresponsive" victim to an emergency room in Baton Rouge on September 14th, he was already near death.

Gruver never regained consciousness and died in hospital later that same day. According to his autopsy report, he had a BAC of .495 percent -- a lethal level of alcohol six times the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle.

Hazing fatalities continue to plague American universities despite the controversial ceremonies having been all but banned from 'Greek Life' in recent years. Last winter, for example, one of the worst cases so far occurred on the campus of Penn State University, with the protracted "manslaughter" of Timothy Piazza.

A dangerously-intoxicated Piazza died a slow and painful death from life-threatening injuries the teen athlete sustained after repeatedly plummeting down a stairwell in the Beta Theta Pi frat house, and even being manhandled and assaulted there while comatose.

As with the current case, the entire sad and sordid event was captured on the frat's security cameras, making it fairly easy to identify all 18 of the perpetrators.

They likewise were seen on tape discussing how to escape responsibility and texting each other with *legal* advice and a concocted story, whilst actively refusing to get their dying pledge the lifesaving medical treatment he clearly required.

KENNEKA JENKINS: No Foul Play or Date Drug in Freezer Death of Teen

Officials rule "no foul play" in the bizarre disappearance and freezer death of 19-year-old Kenneka Jenkins (shown below) at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Rosemont, Illinois last month.

According to autopsy and toxicology tests, Jenkins succumbed to "hypothermia" after mistakenly wandering into an unused walk-in freezer at the Crowne Plaza hotel -- while in a drunken stupor -- on the morning of September 9, 2017.

Medical examiners contend that the teen's inebriated condition, and the speed with which she froze to death once locked inside the cold unit, was "exacerbated" by her recreational use of a drug typically prescribed for seizures and migraines.

Although Kenneka Jenkins had no prescription for 'Topiramate' herself, investigators believe she voluntarily consumed it with alcohol while partying with her companions at Crowne Plaza sometime during the day she died there.

They say the two substances are "synergistic" and combined to create a toxic mix that "disoriented" young Jenkins, fatally leading to her "confusion and impaired" decision to pry open the massive doors of a 34-degree freezer compartment herself and then close them behind her.

Searchers eventually found her trapped inside the frigid chamber, face down and long dead of overexposure, some 24 hours later.

A number of lesions detected postmortem in Jenkins' stomach are consistent with someone who's frozen to death, medical examiners have noted in the report they released on Friday. However, the victim's brain was also "swollen," and bruises and abrasions on at least one of her legs haven't been satisfactorily explained either.

Allegedly, every misstep of Kenneka Jenkins' fateful journey to an unguarded kitchen area where the deadly walk-in freezer was situated had been filmed on hotel surveillance cameras, except for the moment she entered the icebox.

Curiously, though, some of the hotel's CCTV footage that day has yet to be turned over for inspection; most importantly, video from a cam positioned “near the upstairs abandoned kitchen" where Ms. Jenkins met her icy end.

Relatives are therefore challenging the recent findings of "accidental death" as well as the initial reluctance of hotel management and police to search for Kenneka between September 9th and 10th, when her family and friends had repeatedly reported the girl inexplicably missing.

“I want to see it all," Jenkin's mother angrily responded this week to reporters questioning the 'no foul play' ruling in her daughter's sudden disappearance and unusual demise. "I want to see her actually walking into this freezer and closing herself within this freezer and freezing to death.”

Korkki Sisters Double Death Solved, But Not the Mystery

A coroner announced today that the Korkki sisters died of symptoms related to high altitude sickness, solving part of their double death mystery, but not all of it.

Autopsies revealed that affluent American tourists Annie Korkki, 37, and her sister Robin, 42, succumbed more than a week ago to “acute” pulmonary and cerebral edema while vacationing at an island luxury resort off the east African coast.

Their bodies were discovered prone on the same bed in their shared hotel suite on September 22, 2016, with “no visible signs of injury.”

The condition that appears to have simultaneously killed them involves the buildup of fluid in the heart, lungs and brain, producing dangerous swelling and even death if not immediately treated.

It commonly afflicts mountain climbers who rapidly ascend high peaks without first acclimating to the thinner atmosphere, but concussions, infectious diseases, tumors and strokes are also possible contributing factors.

Both of the Korkki siblings, however, were healthy and athletic, a family member informed reporters for CNN.

He said they had always been “inseparable” and that each worked in the financial industry; one in Chicago, the other in Denver.

The “adventurous” twosome had extended their joint vacation in the Seychelles archipelago by a few days -- perhaps due to being sickened -- although no particular reason for a departure change was given in any of their social media updates.

According to WebMD and Emedicine.Medscape, the onset of symptoms of ‘mountain sickness’ can present in only a matter of hours after the initial neurologic insult.

These include dizziness, nausea, vision loss, impaired memory, seizure, stupor and unconsciousness. Any of which could explain why the sisters had to be physically “helped” by hotel staff to their room in the hours before they passed away together.

Still, their postmortem reports don't solve the Korkki case entirely, since how they could have fallen so gravely ill, side by side, with such a weird illness, still remains unknown today.

Warrants Issued for 'Missing' Boater Found Adrift After Fishy 'Mishap'

Warrants regarding formerly “missing” boater Nathan Carman have been issued, after he was found adrift last weekend in the Atlantic and the only other crew member -- his mom -- remains “lost at sea.”

It’s not the first time the young man has fallen under suspicion of the authorities. Carman, who lives in Vermont but was born in Connecticut, became “a suspect” in his wealthy grandfather’s shooting death three years ago.

No one has yet been charged for that murder, but, now that one of the dead man’s heirs has vanished and is presumed deceased too, police have renewed their interest in the unsolved homicide and in the one person who seems to link both cases: 22-year-old Nathan Carman.

The Hartford Courant examined all the related court documents this week and reported that young Carman had been suspected in the murder of 87-year-old widower John Chakalos on December 20, 2013. In part because he was the last person to see the victim alive.

Records show, in fact, that the then-teenaged and troubled youth was nearly taken into custody for his grandfather's brutal killing several months later, before a warrant for his arrest was vacated on unspecified grounds.

In a brief interview with the Associated Press this week, Nathan Carman denied responsibility for either his elderly relative’s slaying or his mother’s recent disappearance.

Linda Carman, 54, was one of four daughters to inherit the slain Chakalos’ vast estate, estimated at the time to have been worth in excess of $40-million.

The missing middle-aged heiress and her “autistic” grown son embarked together on one of their “routine” fishing trips from Rhode Island on September 17th. 

It’s unclear what happened to their boat, the Chicken Pox, or to Mrs. Carman, but sole survivor Nathan Carman was found “in a four-person life-raft” over the weekend and the Coast Guard questioned him in detail about the “accident” he claims sank the vessel.

The young man told CG investigators that, prior to the craft suddenly “falling out from under” him as it was rapidly taking on water, he’d heard the engine make “a funny sound.”

State and federal officials are indicating they think Carman’s story likewise sounds a bit “funny” and are continuing to probe the fishy incident.

Meanwhile, they'll continue to search for his missing mom as well; although, if Linda Carman wasn't murdered onboard, then, in all probability, she has drowned.

Jacob Wetterling Cold Case: Confession But No Charges for Killer Pedo

The heartbroken parents of missing 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling have at last learned the sad fate of their abducted son: He was molested and murdered over two and half decades ago, then buried in a Minnesota cow pasture.

Jacob had been kidnapped at gunpoint by a masked man in October 1989 while biking home on a country road with his brother and a friend. The armed assailant ordered the two other terrified boys to run and “not look back” or he’d shoot them.

They both fled on foot together, and Jacob Wetterling was never seen again.

In September 2016, however, the Associated Press reported that a longtime “person of interest” who, 27 years ago lived fairly close to the Wetterling residence in St. Joseph MN, “led FBI investigators” to Jacob’s skeletal remains.

A spokesman for the Bureau, speaking on condition of anonymity, also tipped off reporters for the St. Cloud Times and KSTP TV that 53-year-old Daniel Heinrich would soon be appearing in Federal Court on charges loosely connected to Wetterling’s missing-persons case.

And it was during those subsequent legal proceedings when Heinrich confessed to cuffing and driving Wetterling to a wooded area some 30 miles from his abduction site. There, the defendant said, he raped the boy and shot him to death, after “panicking” when he overheard on a police scanner that a patrol car was in the vicinity.

The killer pedophile then hastily buried Wetterling’s body at the crime scene; reburying it a year later in another remote location nearby when a “visit” to the first gravesite revealed that Jacob’s jacket had partially emerged.

Heinrich, who is reportedly a victim of child molestation himself, was taken into custody over a year ago for possessing and distributing child pornography. He previously entered innocent pleas to more than two-dozen such criminal counts, but those pleadings have drastically changed now.

Heinrich had come to the immediate attention of authorities during the earliest days of the Jacob Wetterling investigation, albeit there was never any substantial evidence in 1989 or the ensuing years to charge him for anything.

At that time, deviant ‘Danny’ Heinrich lived in Paynesville Minnesota and matched the description of an unknown man who had been stalking and sexually assaulting neighborhood boys.

In fact, in the years just before and after young Wetterling’s horrific abduction, at least eight juvenile males are believed to have suffered similar attacks and survived.

‘Nuclear’ DNA tests conducted in 2015 on one of these victims’ clothing implicated Heinrich as the perpetrator, but prosecuting him for the decades-old crime spree is no longer possible because statutes of limitation have since expired.

Court papers in connection to Wetterling’s now-solved cold case showed police strongly casting suspicion on Daniel Heinrich a year before the slain boy’s shallow grave was actually unearthed, with the aid of his killer.

According to Fox News, the "volatile" child-exploiter begrudgingly "cooperated" with FBI agents in this manner in exchange for lighter sentencing on the bevy of kiddie porn charges he couldn't otherwise hope to defend.

Consequently, because of his extraordinary plea deal, Heinrich can't be charged now for kidnapping and murdering Jacob Wetterling in 1989, nor for abusing his corpse -- twice.

But his belated admission of guilt puts to rest one of the most disturbing disappearances on record, and was all that was needed to finally tie it to unsolved assaults on other boys who were likewise targeted by a dangerous sexual predator in the 80s and 90s, but lived to tell about it.

Midlothian Murder Mystery - Was Killer a Woman?

PHOTOS: The Midlothian murder mystery continues to deepen days after a beloved fitness guru was found slain at a Texas church.

Police have stepped back from earlier assertions that the cop-imposter sought in the predawn killing of 45-year-old Terri 'Missy' Bevers, as she was preparing to hold her Monday morning exercise class, is 'male.'

"We are backing off our statement that the suspect on video was a man," a local law enforcement official told reporters today. "We said 'he' over and over again yesterday, and that was a mistake."

He added that, although investigators are still unsure of the killer's actual gender, "there's a lot of speculation, based on the gait and appearance, this person may be a woman."

Via Facebook, police have also released the below series of surveillance stills, with a few more seconds of live video, filmed inside the Creekside Church, in hopes someone will recognize the suspect's "distinctive walk."

Whoever the person is, they acted familiar with the layout of the building and might have even disabled some motion-activated cameras before the deadly incident, as no footage is said to exist where the assault itself occurred, or in other key places.

Additionally, a coroner has determined exactly how Ms. Bevers died in Monday's mysterious attack. However, on orders from detectives working the case, those findings are being kept confidential.

Thus, "only her murderer" and those involved in apprehending the individual presently know the manner in which the middle-aged mother-of-three was slain two days ago; albeit a motive, as with the killer's identity, still remains elusive.

Midlothian police did disclose that Missy Bevers briefly "struggled" with her unknown assailant and that first responders found "a lot of broken glass" at the crime scene near and around her body.

Although the victim's husband doesn't believe his wife was specifically "targeted" for homicide, the theory she might have "interrupted a burglary" is beginning to seem more and more unlikely.

According to police and church officials, despite the intruder "vandalizing" the building just moments before instructor Bevers' arrival for her weekly 5:00 a.m. 'boot camp' session, nothing apparently was stolen from the facility.

It's also no longer clear if the fitness trainer's "heavily disguised" assassin was armed either, since it appears she (or he) "used a pry-bar" to break-and-enter and didn't display knives or firearms once indoors.

That metal object may therefore be the murder weapon too, suggesting Missy Bevers died from blunt force trauma. Although, once again, detectives have declined to release these type of case details to the public, citing their "ongoing investigation."

They are confirming the Midlothian murder suspect suited up "in tactical gear" before coming to the church, including donning "a heavy helmet" with a face-guard, and various official insignias "designed" to make them "look like a police officer."

It is the cop impersonator aspect of the “extremely unusual" crime which has law enforcement concerned “something else" besides a robbery "was going on here," and why they're especially eager to take the killer into custody as quickly as possible.

To those aims, the Texas Rangers have joined forces with the Midlothian Police Department to help solve the murder of Missy Bevers, and an area business is offering a substantial reward for tips leading to the arrest and prosecution of her killer.

Blogger Butchered in Bangladesh

The blogger butchered in Bangladesh on Thursday evening for frequently criticizing religious intolerance and Islamic extremism was a naturalized American citizen originally born in the country where he was crucified.

A heretofore unknown terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the brutal assault on Avijit Roy and his wife as the couple were about to sit down for tea at a crowded sidewalk cafe in Dhaka. 

The attackers who call themselves "Ansar Bangla 7" used cleavers and machetes to viciously hack their victims, then left the bloody utensils at the scene.

Roy's spouse, Rafida Ahmed, is also a blogger. She survived her wounds but remains seriously injured.

"This was not just an attack against a person," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki angrily told reporters in Washington, "but a cowardly assault on the universal principles enshrined in Bangladesh's constitution and the country's proud tradition of free intellectual and religious discourse."

In recent years Bangladeshis have seen similar ambushes on secular writers who lived or were visiting their country, giving rise to fears that Islamic militancy may now be spreading into that impoverished nation, too.

Following this latest act of terrorism the group Ansar Bangla 7 announced on Twitter that the blogger butchered in Bangladesh "was the target because of his crime against Islam," leaving little doubt that yet another Muslim extremist group has just been born.

Avijit Roy was 42-years-old when he was assassinated. Like other outspoken bloggers, he had been receiving death threats for years.

Mayfair Murder Mystery

Philadelphia police probe Mayfair murder mystery, amid reports that a similar attempt was made last month on the victim's grandson:

Two females were found killed "execution style" this weekend in the 4700 block of Vista Street in Mayfair -- one of them had been put to death in the livingroom and the other upstairs.

Although neither homicide victim is related to each other, they were reportedly very good friends, and both were murdered with a single gunshot to the head.

Police say an unidentified individual was seen running from the house only moments before the bodies were discovered. However, there were no indications of forced entry.

Deepening the Mayfair murder mystery is that the older woman was well known throughout the community for her many good deeds in helping out those who were struggling.

"Grandma," as 67-year-old Dollie Evans was affectionately called by everybody, "was one of the sweetest persons that you could ever meet,” neighbors said.

Oddly enough though, the deceased woman's brother, Lloyd Knox, claims she had in fact received some death threats recently, but added he didn't know why.

Knox was the last person to see his sister and her friend, Ruby Thomas, alive. "It could have been me," he said. "I'm normally still around, but today I just unloaded stuff and left."

The slain 59-year-old Thomas is said to have been a regular guest of Dollie Evans and a frequent recipient of her benevolence. It's not clear why she was targeted either.

In perhaps the only clue offered thus far, family members state a grandson of Evans also lived at her Mayfair residence and, curiously, escaped a similar fate there last month. No arrests were made at the time and both incidents are now being examined by authorities to see if there's a connection.

Regrettably, a pit bull named Kilo was home when the slayings occurred, but the guard dog was locked in the basement. Something which the killer, or killers, may have known...

POLICE: Erin Corwin Killer was 'Lying in Wait' for Her

The killer of Erin Corwin was "lying in wait" for her to come for a preplanned romantic tryst, investigators say, drastically elevating the charges and penalty for her vicious murder.

If true, the pretty 19-year-old Californian was betrayed in the most classic and horrific of ways -- by an illicit lover, and, in this case, her very own next-door neighbor, Christopher Lee.

Corwin went inexplicably missing this summer after telling her husband she was going to Joshua Tree National Park for a couple of hours. Her car was later located a few miles shy of that location.

Following an intensive weeks-long search for the newly pregnant woman, Corwin's decomposed corpse was finally located on August 16th less than two miles from her home at the bottom of an abandoned mineshaft.

Her paramour, the long suspected Lee, was taken into custody the very next day in Alaska where the former marine and his childhood-sweetheart/wife Nichole had recently moved together.

Nichole Lee has now been labeled "a person of interest" in the ongoing murder investigation.

Homicide victim Erin Corwin was believed to have been secretly seeing Christopher Lee, and even carrying his baby, for months. But those in the know also claim that Lee expressed grave concerns about how his own spouse would react if she found out.

At his arraignment, prosecutors further disclosed that Lee had conducted several online searches on how to "dispose of a dead body."  The avid hunter and ex-soldier stood shackled and unshaven in court on Tuesday.

Lee's allegedly temperamental wife has been under intense scrutiny herself ever since making some shadowy observations regarding the inability of authorities to bring murder charges against someone if a missing person can't be found. 

She is said to have additionally hinted that the whereabouts of Corwin's remains would "never" be discovered and that detectives "missed" important evidence when they first came to the couple's home to execute a search warrant.

Christopher and Nicole Lee have one child by marriage. It's not clear what will become of their offspring if both parents are to be charged now.

Pistol Packing Pistorius Pleads Paraplegia

Shameless Oscar Pistorius is groveling for his freedom today, claiming in the wrap-up stage of his murder trial that he shot his actress-girlfriend to death last year because he has no legs.

Since his heartless slaying of Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013, Pistorius has continued to shock and startle the world with public acts of drunkenness and brutality amid a mountain of troubling revelations regarding similar misconduct in the past.

As a result, the young, disabled Olympian -- once celebrated in his homeland of South Africa and admired across the globe for overcoming his legless birth defect -- is all but shunned these days.

 

And now, whilst still ridiculously insisting he "accidentally" killed the unarmed Steenkamp at his home during a heated argument, the gun-toting Pistorius also wants everyone to believe that the decision to repeatedly discharge his weapon that night was solely influenced by his missing legs.

Of course that totally lame excuse shouldn't surprise anybody either -- gutless Oscar Pistorius has made a spectacle of himself throughout the entire court proceedings. Not only by stupidly refusing to man up about the crime, but by bawling, puking, and even hiding his guilty face in his hands and threatening to faint.

It's poor drama, to be sure, and thus far his feeble acting has utterly failed to suspend disbelief, but nevertheless one still can't help but wonder whether this pathetic parolympian perpetrator may have somehow missed his calling.

Cowardly Charles Manson Follower "Killed to Be Loved"

Charles Manson follower, Patricia Krenwinkel, gave a rare jailhouse interview recently, pathetically confessing she "was a coward" who took part in the grisly Tate/LaBianca murder spree solely "to be loved" by the bloodthirsty psychopath.

Krenwinkel was just one of a harem of femme fatales who, on the orders of Manson, arrived at the Hollywood residence of Roman Polanski in the early morning hours of August 9, 1969 and brutally butchered his then 8 1/2 months pregnant wife -- actress Sharon Tate -- along with her friends and fetus.

The famed director, an infamous pedophile himself, was not home at the time.

Now, lifer and model-inmate Patricia Krenwinkel, age 66, is no longer wearing her hallmark creepy smirk. Instead, she's soulfully claiming that she participated in the Tate massacre, as well as the LaBianca murders staged shortly thereafter, simply because she was desperate for "Charlie's love."

Together, the beautiful but ill-fated starlet Tate and her equally hapless entourage were stabbed hundreds of times, even after they were already dead, and their blood then used as finger-paint.

Following carnival-like court trials, killer Krenwinkel and her crazed cohorts were each sentenced to die for their roles in the gory crime spree, but while awaiting execution their sentences were commuted to life when California's death penalty was briefly overturned.

Thankfully though, none of these depraved degenerates will ever see the light of day again ... nor do a group hug.

Quadruple Murderer Escapes Michigan Jail

Quadruple murderer Michael David Elliot is a free man today. At least until he's recaptured:

Officials in Michigan say the 40-year-old convicted killer escaped from prison overnight by digging a hole in the ground near a security fence. 

True to form, he then abducted a woman at knife point and took off with her in her car.

His hostage somehow managed to get away and notify police shortly thereafter, but Elliot -- and the shaken woman's vehicle -- are still nowhere to be found today.

Authorities believe this armed and dangerous quadruple murderer may now be in Indiana and ask that anybody who spots the suspect keep their distance and call 911 immediately.

Michael David Elliot is described as a middle-aged Caucasian male, about 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds. He has short dark hair and, when last sighted, was sporting a beard and a hooded sweatshirt.

A gas station attendant where the escapee stopped to refuel the stolen car says he's driving a red Jeep Liberty 2004 model registered in the state of Michigan. The license plate number is 5FTG55.

Elliot is a career criminal with a lengthy rap sheet that includes armed robbery, arson, breaking and entering, and homicide. He's also known to have used various aliases in the past, such as Michael D. Delarosa, Michael David Shreader, and Michael David Delarose.

A nationwide alert has been issued for his apprehension.

The Colleen Ritzer Murder: Is Philip Chism a Serial Killer?

The investigation into the murder of Colleen Ritzer, 24, by her student Philip Chism, 14, continues. But are police asking the right questions?

"Officer Hovey conducted a pat frisk for safety reasons and discovered that Philip Chism had a knife on his person ... [he then] inventoried the contents of Philip Chism's backpack and a bloodstained box cutter was found. Officer Hovey asked the defendant where the blood on the box cutter came from. Chism responded, "The girl." Also located from the possessions of Mr. Chism were many credit cards and two Massachusetts Driver's licenses belonging to Colleen Ritzer ... a pair of woman's bluish/green sheer underwear were found in Chism's backpack as well...

"A search of the school grounds and adjacent wooded area were conducted in the early morning hours of October 23, 2012. The body of Colleen Ritzer was subsequently found in a wooded area near the school. ... Detective Robert Sullivan of the Danvers Police observed the body and he said that it was found in a supine position covered with leaves and debris in manner consistent with attempts to hide the body ... The victim's throat was slit. A green recycle bin consistent with what was observed in the video was found approximately twenty yards from Colleen Ritzer's body. Detective Sullivan said that the victim's shirt was lifted above her breasts, and the bra pulled below her breast. No clothing was observed on the victim's body from the waist down. 

"He also advised me that the victim's legs were spread apart and slightly bent in what appeared to be a 'sexually staged' or 'sexually positioned' manner. Shellie Zimmerman Says George Zimmerman Is Berserk

Shellie Zimmerman, the estranged wife of Trayvon Martin's killer, claims George Zimmerman has gone wacko since being acquitted of the unarmed Florida teen's assault and murder last summer.

She also said that, on the night preceding that infamous shooting, she'd actually left her husband because he once again ridiculed her in public, adding that "life would be very different now" if she hadn't foolishly returned to his aid in the aftermath of the contentious killing.

Zimmerman, who's had regular brushes with the law both before and after that undeniably life-altering event, was once more detained and arrested this month on charges of domestic violence.

This time it involved a live-in girlfriend who he allegedly threatened at gunpoint when she attempted to throw him out of her apartment. 

According to the woman, he also deliberately broke some of her possessions.

Weeks ago repeat offender George Zimmerman narrowly escaped similar charges from Shellie Zimmerman herself when he assaulted her and her father at their home whilst brandishing a firearm.

BREAKING NEWS: Missing McStay Family Finally Found

The mysterious disappearance of the McStay family in 2010 appears to have finally been solved -- California police announced today that they believe they've just uncovered the missing foursome's skeletal remains.

The doomed couple and their two young children had all been buried in shallow graves. 

Autopsy results are still pending, but officials have already stated that the victims' deaths were apparently due to homicide.

That sad find was made in the sands of the Southern California desert, not too far from where the McStay's had originally vanished.

Over the past three years investigators pursued hundreds of tips in an effort to solve the McStay family's inexplicable disappearance, eventually drawing the conclusion that they'd abruptly left their San Diego home for Mexico.

In fact, adding to the riddle of their sudden departure, and helping to bolster the official theory of a voluntary absence, the McStay family vehicle had been found parked at the Mexican border. 

Authorities were further convinced that four people seen on poor-quality surveillance video entering at the Tijuana checkpoint on foot together in 2010 were the McStays.

But it now looks like they were dead wrong.

The case against killer Montana bride takes another ghastly twist:

If the murder case of Montana bride Jordan Graham wasn't odd enough, it's about to get even stranger, as prosecutors now try to prove she not only shoved her new husband over the edge of a cliff, but blindfolded him first.

Initially Graham, 22, had misled police about her groom's mysterious disappearance and subsequent death, saying she had seen new husband Cody Johnson, 25, drive away one afternoon with his friends, never to return again.

Then, four days later, the bad Montana bride told a ranger in nearby Glacier National Park that she had in fact located Johnson's body herself  -- lying bruised and bloody at the bottom of a rocky ravine.

"It was a place he wanted to see before he died,” she then explained to puzzled investigators.

Dr. Martin MacNeill GUILTY of Drugging and Drowning Wife

A Utah jury has just declared Dr. Martin MacNeill guilty of drugging and drowning his wife six years ago, as well as obstructing justice.

Jurists unanimously decided that MacNeill had indeed planned and committed the killing of his 50-year-old spouse, simply so he could take up full time with a much younger mistress. 

In a widely watched murder trial a number of key prosecution witnesses, including one of the victim's older daughters, testified that, in anticipation of killing his unwanted wife, the diabolical doctor encouraged her to have extensive plastic surgery, with the aim of staging her drug overdose.

Michele MacNeill was soon thereafter found drowned to death in a bathtub at the MacNeill residence. Her daughter, Ada, who was 6 at the time, found her dead in the tub after returning from school that day.

The traumatized girl had told investigators that the bathwater "was brown" and her mother fully clothed in it.

Initially medical examiners, finding excessive amounts of more than one painkiller in Michele MacNeill's system, deemed her drowning an accident. 

But when widower MacNeill swiftly moved a longtime lover into his home only nine days later -- giving the woman a marriage proposal and a costly engagement ring as well -- it rightfully aroused suspicions.

The doctor's paramour, who goes by the name of Gypsy Willis, was purportedly "hired as a nanny" for Ada MacNeill, although family and neighbors observed that, apart from making a spaghetti dinner for the child once, the woman spent most of her time there in the doctor's bedroom.

Dr. Martin MacNeill is, of course, not the only murderous medicine man ever to have harbored evil in his heart and malice aforethought for an unsuspecting mate.

In July 2013 neouroscientist Dr. Robert Ferrante was arrested for poisoning his wife with cyanide because he feared she was about to divorce him.

BREAKING NEWS: More Arrests in Mississippi Family Slayings

BREAKING NEWS IN MISSISSIPPI FAMILY SLAYINGS:  Police have arrested a second male suspect in the gunshot deaths of a missing Mississippi family this week.

Cedric D. Mason, 30 of Jackson, was charged with two counts of capital murder and two counts of kidnapping late last night. 

Mississippian authorities say they are still trying to determine the precise events that led up to the triple homicide of Atira Hughes-Smith, her 7-year-old son Jaidon Hill and husband Lattery Smith, but indicate that Mason criminally acted in concert with 42-year-old Timothy Burns already in custody.

Burns originally led police to the family-of-three's dead bodies, after which he was arrested on suspicion of murder. 

He has been charged with two counts of murder and arson -- investigators believe it was Burns himself who wrecked the SUV of the missing Mississippi family and then set it on fire to destroy evidence.

It is not clear if the victims were in the vehicle with him at the time, when they were all actually killed, or if the three were somehow connected to the suspects. 

The motive for the slayings also remains unknown at this time, although police continue to investigate.

"The preliminary investigation indicates Laterry Smith was murdered in a house in southwest Jackson. The crimes were committed in Hinds and Copiah counties and the district attorneys in those jurisdictions are conferring on the best manner to move forward with the prosecution of Mason and Burns," a department spokesman reported tonight.

"We have theories," he added, "but the investigation will ferret out the facts."
