Cowardly Charles Manson Follower "Killed to Be Loved"

Charles Manson follower, Patricia Krenwinkel, gave a rare jailhouse interview recently, pathetically confessing she "was a coward" who took part in the grisly Tate/LaBianca murder spree solely "to be loved" by the bloodthirsty psychopath.

Krenwinkel was just one of a harem of femme fatales who, on the orders of Manson, arrived at the Hollywood residence of Roman Polanski in the early morning hours of August 9, 1969 and brutally butchered his then 8 1/2 months pregnant wife -- actress Sharon Tate -- along with her friends and fetus.

The famed director, an infamous pedophile himself, was not home at the time.

Now, lifer and model-inmate Patricia Krenwinkel, age 66, is no longer wearing her hallmark creepy smirk. Instead, she's soulfully claiming that she participated in the Tate massacre, as well as the LaBianca murders staged shortly thereafter, simply because she was desperate for "Charlie's love."

Together, the beautiful but ill-fated starlet Tate and her equally hapless entourage were stabbed hundreds of times, even after they were already dead, and their blood then used as finger-paint.

Following carnival-like court trials, killer Krenwinkel and her crazed cohorts were each sentenced to die for their roles in the gory crime spree, but while awaiting execution their sentences were commuted to life when California's death penalty was briefly overturned.

Thankfully though, none of these depraved degenerates will ever see the light of day again ... nor do a group hug.

The death toll has risen to nearly a dozen confirmed slayings now, but the investigation into the deceased serial murderer's trail of blood is hardly closed, FBI spokesmen announced today.

The Bureau has also provided a revised travel timeline for the highly mobile killer Keyes, and their new one not only ominously stretches overseas, it's interactive.

Many of the thus-far nameless victims being sought by authorities were gradually hinted at by Keyes himself while incarcerated for the rape, murder and dismemberment of Alaskan teen Samantha Koenig in 2012.

But he killed himself in his jail cell before agents could extract the precise details of his decade-long murder spree.

So once again they're asking for the public's aid in identifying and locating victims of the Alaska serial killer.

FBI requests public’s help with

He is proving to be one of the most criminally insane serial killers of all time, with an unprecedented crime spree that includes rape, murder, dismemberment, arson, and bank robbery.

But, thankfully, Israel Keyes’ decade-long, cross-country reign of terror, which even involved burying caches of weapons, money and other materials for preplanned homicides, has officially come to an end this winter:

He committed suicide in an Alaskan jail the first week of December 2012, leaving behind a blood-soaked note currently being analyzed by the FBI. >

In so doing, Keyes executed his last sadistic act on humanity, slamming the door forever on a tenuous and terrible dialog investigators had necessarily established with him while he was in custody awaiting trial for brutally slaying a teenage girl in Alaska.

It was an arduous process getting the 34-year-old psychopath to come clean about his crimes, and throughout these interviews Keyes displayed a distinctly unfunny sense of humor which agents had feigned to be entertained by, in hopes of extracting from Keyes all the locations, names and details of his unknown victims.

But they didn’t succeed at this gruesome task in time. 

Felonies for fun 

Israel Keyes was a trained U.S. soldier in the 1990s stationed at some point in the Middle East, and when he finally returned from his tour of duty he set himself up first as a handyman and later as a construction contractor, cunningly inventing a cover for cruelties he would keep well-hidden from his wife, child, friends and neighbors.

In the construction industry he had an ideal profession, one that would give him the perfect excuse for traveling the countryside at length in search of unlucky individuals and couples to torture and kill.

It was a double life Keyes had led up until his capture in 2012; an elaborate ruse he "enjoyed" immensely within which he was able to make every state in the Union his hunting ground, and every kind of American citizen his game.

And in his capacity as a self-styled, roving serial murderer, Keyes was to be indiscriminate; he killed females, he killed males, he killed the old and the young. 

Madness to his methods 

Although Keyes was classified as an 'organized' serial murderer for his coolheaded, coldblooded criminology, at the time he was apprehended by authorities he was already descending into killer chaos of the “disorganized” variety: Targeting pairs and couples for prey, and breaking his own rules in obtaining these hard-to-get victims by killing on his home turf, using his own vehicle, and stealing victims’ credit cards to fund his adventures and travels.

This is how he got himself snared, fortunately, and it’s not that uncommon either—crafty Ted Bundy’s mental faculties also rapidly deteriorated toward the end, until he was killing solely by maniacal compulsion and leaving at his crime scenes a long and bloody trail.

Bundy too had started spilling the beans while he was incarcerated and facing death in the electric chair, and it’s believed that he did, by his last breath, tell investigators everything. More or less without the kind of exaggerations that some of his ilk are wont to do once they’re thrust into the spotlight.

Israel Keyes studied up on the likes of Bundy, he told his interrogators, but he also made it very clear to them that he was nobody’s copycat.

The chilling kills he did admit to doing show such boasts might just be true.

However, Keyes did not tell all before he expired, and, rest assured, those awful murders which he did confess to committing were not the embellished accounts or fabrications of a delusional madman perversely seeking adulation. Each and every one of these have so far been corroborated in follow ups by police. Right down to the minutest detail.

But there’s much more that Keyes had alluded to in his final days, and he was ever so slowly revealing the course of these hellish journeys and acts he undertook, before his cowardly end left investigators hanging.

So the FBI is now urgently requesting the public’s assistance in solving the half-told horrors Israel Keyes committed as he drove and flew from state to state, deliberately targeting remote areas such as campsites, boat launches, and parks to lurk in and kill. 

An urgent appeal from the FBI: 

"Mary Rook, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the state of Alaska, requests the public’s assistance in developing information concerning the travels of suspected serial killer Israel Keyes, deceased, in order to identify additional victims. Anyone with information concerning Keyes is encouraged to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

"Based upon investigation conducted following his arrest in March 2012, Israel Keyes is believed to have committed multiple kidnappings and murders across the country between 2001 and March 2012. Keyes lived in Washington from 2001 to March 2007, at which time he moved to Alaska. While living in Alaska, Keyes worked as a general contractor but traveled extensively. In a series of interviews with law enforcement, Keyes described significant planning and preparation for his murders, reflecting a meticulous and organized approach to his crimes. It was not unusual for Keyes to fly into an airport, rent a car, and drive hundreds of miles to his final destination. This was the case in the murder of Bill and Loraine Currier, where Keyes flew into Chicago, rented a car, and drove across several states before arriving in Essex, Vermont. After the murder of the Curriers, Keyes continued his travels on the east coast before returning to Chicago and then to Alaska.

"Keyes admitted responsibility for robbing several banks during this timeframe, two of which investigators have corroborated. Keyes used the proceeds from his bank robberies to pay for his travel, along with money he made as a general contractor. Keyes also admitted traveling to various locations to leave supplies he planned to use in a future crime. Keyes buried caches throughout the United States. The FBI has recovered two caches buried by Keyes—one in Eagle River, Alaska, and one near Blakes Falls Reservoir in New York. The caches contained weapons and other items used to dispose of bodies. Keyes indicated the other caches he buried throughout the U.S. contain weapons, money, and items used to dispose of victims.

“Investigators believe that Keyes did not know any of his victims prior to their abductions. He described several remote locations that he frequented to look for victims—parks, campgrounds, trailheads, cemeteries, boating areas, etc. Keyes also told investigators that prior to the Currier case, his victims’ disappearances received little if any media coverage. Based on his own research, Keyes stated that one of his victims has been recovered but authorities ruled the death accidental. Investigators have not identified this victim or where this crime occurred.

"Keyes admitted to murdering four people in Washington; he killed two people (independent of each other) sometime during 2005 and 2006 and murdered a couple in Washington between 2001 and 2005. It is unknown if these victims were residents of Washington or if they were vacationing in Washington but resided in another state. It is also possible Keyes abducted them from a nearby state and transported them to Washington.

"Additionally, Keyes admitted to investigators that in 2009 he murdered a victim on the east coast and disposed of the body in New York State. Based on Keyes’ statements, investigators believe Keyes abducted the victim from a surrounding state and transported him/her to New York.

"The timeline below is an outline of Keyes’ travels and whereabouts throughout the United States from 2001 to present. Due to Keyes’ pattern of traveling significant distances by car, the locations are grouped by region rather than specific states."

5 big reasons the Jodi Arias jury 'got it wrong'

In the spring of 2013, as the Jodi Arias jury deliberated on whether she should face death for the brutal slaying of Travis Alexander or life in prison, there was the smell of blood in the air.

 

These were the same jurors who earlier had unanimously proclaimed the defendant guilty of premeditated murder. The same ones too that then declared her eligible to be executed.

They'd been swift and unequivocal in that latter finding -- the crime Jodi Arias had committed in 2008 was "exceptionally cruel," they all agreed -- so, understandably, eager throngs of Arias haters were clamoring to have her head handed over to them on a silver platter.

 

The last thing anybody expected was an announcement that the Arias jury had deadlocked. Yet in retrospect that was inevitable and a valuable lesson for the future. Here's what hung them up:

1. Cameras in the courtroom: From perps to prosecutors, everyone behaves differently in front of the camera than they do in real life. Being in the spotlight changes things, and not necessarily for the better.

Add to film's potential for transforming everyday occurrences into major cinematic events one bullish grandstander like Juan Martinez and a natural-born poser like Arias, together with a "supporting cast" of otherwise ordinary people, and you've got a soap opera, not a trial.

It was knowing that those cameras would be rolling 24/7, and the whole universe watching transfixed, that undoubtedly prompted the defense to put their showy client on the witness stand for 18 solid days.

An unusually risky and terribly misguided strategy which, in the end, only proved she had a lively sexual appetite and a flair for fabricating stories.

2. Jurors not sequestered: Arias' shocking courtroom candor, juxtaposed with her flagrant lies and half-truths, earned the pretty perpetrator gazillions of gawkers worldwide. Most of who, in shrill voices, made it plain they hated her guts.

For jurors, this bare-all testimony she furnished was challenging on many levels, and therefore had to be thoroughly discussed amongst themselves in order to properly weigh its factual and legal significance.

Surprisingly, these men and women were not sequestered though, so they'd be flat out lying too if they said they were unaware of, and unaffected by, public bias against the defendant. Ditto for asserting with any integrity that they never once debated her case with, or sought out the advice of, anyone but each other.

Like it or not, it's possible to picture a sequestered jury, ignorant of the uproar it would cause, upholding Arias' substantiated claims of abuse, and even perhaps her self-defense plea as well.

3. Defendant's lack of criminal past or history of violence: There will always be doubt in any reasonable, unbiased person's mind about sentencing someone to death for one solitary murder who has never before exhibited violence or even one smidgeon of criminality.

In short, jurors realized that Arias was no serial murderer such as Ted Bundy, no mass murderer like Charlie Manson, and no career criminal on some escalating crime spree, either. They saw instead a scorned woman who, in a jealous rage, viciously slew the man who'd done her wrong…

4. Victim's inherently abusive nature: To his family, friends, coworkers, and various love interests, the 30-year-old seemingly mild mannered Travis Alexander had represented himself as a devout and chaste Mormon who was saving himself for marriage.

But nothing could be further from the truth, the jury learned, as mountains of hardcore letters, e-mails, text messages, audio recordings and photographs disclosed the victim's deceptiveness and perversions.

So too, the vulgar weeks' long kiss-and-tell, delivered by Alexander's soft spoken mistress-turned-murderess, while not serving her own cause well, did him no favors either.

Jurors' inability to fully sympathize with the slain man because of his perceived dishonesty and callousness automatically transferred a measure of that sympathy to his alluring killer.

5. Media circus: The sound and fury of certain blustery media personalities, while probably good for ratings, is a troubling new development in the world of criminal justice.

Their nonstop rants and specious pontifications aren't intended to enlighten audiences so much as to incite and polarize bloodthirsty mobs. In so doing they create an atmosphere similar to the lynching picnics of the Old South, infamous outdoor executions once attended by thousands.

It all is just entertainment, of course. However, jurists who aren't kept completely isolated can access these inane and hateful dialogues, tainting the process owed to a defendant by embracing views and opinions that may seem popular, as opposed to ones based solely on testimony and evidence.

In Arias' case, this apparently influenced the jury to hastily decide she was an ideal candidate for the death penalty. Yet, when it then came to actually sentencing her to die, they couldn't agree to do it, prompting a mistrial ... and their immediate dismissal ... and death threats.

Those former jurors are now adding their own bitter diatribes to the already potent mix of media babble concerning the Arias/Alexander tragedy, so, at this stage, it's become questionable whether a new and truly impartial jury can be assembled to do the task for which the first one dismally failed.

Or if it's even worth trying.

OBAMA SIN LADEN: Traitor, or True Blue Sociopath?

Hard to believe but Obamacare starts soon, whether or not we like it, which opinion polls show the vast majority of us don’t...

 

Making matters worse, the Internal Revenue Service, one of the shadiest bureaucracies ever created in the history of man and government, is somehow involved in the medical business these days, too. Charged as it were with administering the Obama beast now infamously known as Affordable Care.

 

That means, in just a few short months, millions of us are probably going to be slapped with IRS penalties and even jail time when we fail to participate in the ruse.

 

It is a terrible situation looming on the horizon, absolutely laden with sin and betrayal. And of course a far cry from the “free national healthcare” that Obama originally promised in exchange for valuable votes.

 

But then what can you expect from an obvious sociopath?

 

Profile of a sociopath

 

Lying, manipulation, treachery, deceit, violence, charm, charisma, lack of remorse, lack of empathy, lack of inhibitions or pain, emotional detachment, deviousness, fearlessness, criminality … these are the hallmark traits of a sociopath slash psychopath.

 

It's believed that only one per 100 individuals are born with this incurable mental defect and these are usually males. But, to accurately gauge what kind of societal damage this tiny fraction can do, almost 80 percent of the current prison population qualifies as sociopathic.

 

Crime is in fact the occupation most of these deviant individuals are drawn to, but, according to mental health experts, politics, law, business and finance are very close seconds.

 

In fact, worldwide, they estimate approximately 15 to 20 percent of political leaders, lawyers, bankers, businessmen and the like display similarly antisocial characteristics, albeit typically channeled into more acceptable and successful pursuits.

 

Worse, the more we procreate the more psychopaths we’ll have, these experts warn, with a few of such selfish fiends -- the Hitler, the Stalin, the McCarthy, the Nixon varieties -- invariably coming to rule us from time to time.

 

Psychopathology and heredity

 

Although the circumstances of President Obama’s birth and his childhood still remain somewhat cloaked in mystery, we do know by his family’s own admissions, that the “driven and emotionally remote” youngster, known in those days as Barry Obama, was essentially fatherless.

 

Being abandoned by a parent or being born and raised by one with a checkered past are two main predictors for the development of sociopathic behavior in both male and female offspring alike.

 

Genetics and upbringing are therefore important factors.

 

The bitter Birther controversy aside then, no matter what country Obama actually hails from, his formative influences do matter in the scheme of things. These alone could help to explain a lifetime of unbridled ambition, as well as an overall lack of accountability or compassion in achieving his objectives.

 

Audacity and hope

 

Whether it’s Barry Obama who’s ultimately responsible for the president’s pronounced pattern of lies and deceptions, or his paranoid political alter-ego, Barack, it really doesn’t matter anymore. He is still the guilty party, the one acting without a moral compass, the one devoid of shame and empathy:

 

A psychologically well man, for instance, doesn’t stand up in front of tens of millions of voters and swear he’ll end an unjust, costly war but then, once elected, escalate it. 

 

So too, he doesn’t promise he’ll abolish the unpatriotic Patriot Act and, instead, extend and enhance its infringements, subjecting more citizens and even members of the press to illegal spying and, now, drones. 

 

Additionally, he doesn’t make sweeping assurances he’ll clean up the environment and crackdown on polluters, yet defund global warming research projects and climb into bed with the very same dirty industries that’ve been treating the planet like a dump...

 

He also would never vow to give the people free national healthcare, and, when he’s hooked and crooked himself into office on that platform, callously flash a trademark grin and say “oops” no he won’t.

 

“Free National Healthcare”

 

Yes, the American people had the audacity to hope that when presidential wannabe Barack Obama promised free national healthcare in exchange for the Oval Office, he’d be good for his word once he got there.

 

After all, healthcare costs had finally reached do-or-die levels this century, unconscionably driven ever upward by greedy medical professionals in cahoots with the insurance industry itself, two of Washington DC’s biggest lobbyists not incidentally.

 

Besides, the United States is touted as the richest nation in the world. So why should it continue to be the only one in its class that refuses to provide free health and dentistry for its overtaxed citizens?

 

Free always means FREE, of course. As in the free healthcare coverage Obama and his cohorts presently enjoy at great expense to taxpayers, NOT some intrusive, so called “affordable” mandate which orders citizens to purchase health insurance or else. 

 

That is a dishonest, uncaring, and extremely antisocial solution. Indeed, the whole Obamacare matter smacks of a bait-and-switch scheme, which we all know to be illegal.

Allegations of animal torture and killing now being investigated:

If police are correct in their gruesome new theory, then the alleged boogeyman who viciously stabbed to death little Leila Fowler in April 2013 is none other than her 12-year-old brother, Isaiah.

 

 

The boy, who was finally arrested this week, had been seen attending public prayer vigils wearing pink and purple ribbons and carrying balloons to honor his slain sister's memory.

 

It's not clear yet if he has confessed to the unusually brutal crime, but he first told investigators that a "muscular man with gray hair" had entered their California home when the two youngsters were alone together. He then discovered his sibling's butchered body soon after the assailant fled on foot.

 

The 8-year-old girl had been stabbed at least 21 times, police reported, and her stepbrother's bogus boogeyman tale set off neighbors' nerves, a community-wide lockdown, and a massive manhunt for the alleged perpetrator.

 

Leila Fowler has at last been laid to rest this month, and her shaken community, although in double shock today, is at peace now as well.

Additional allegations against Isaiah Fowler have recently surfaced concerning bullying and animal mutilations prior to the murder of his sister. These are being investigated to determine if the suspect might have been escalating into a violent sociopath.

 

His father, however, insists his son is innocent of his daughter's slaying, despite that the youth had been suspended earlier in the year for bringing a knife to his middle school...

A public debate is raging now in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings, with the primary focus on three main issues: gun control, violent media, and mental health.

Even the National Rifle Association, overwhelmed by hate mail and in hiding for nearly a week after the December 14th 2012 shooting deaths of 20 first-graders and their six unarmed female teachers, has finally agreed that the level of violence on display this century is unparalleled in American history.

Not since the bloody gangster wars of the 1930’s—and our government’s bloody war on those gangsters—have so many public shootings occurred on U.S. soil.

And criminologists hasten to point out that the worst of these have happened within only the past fifteen years, and have nothing whatsoever to do with organized crime or inner city gangs.

The NRA blames graphic videogames and movies for the steep rise in public shootings by the public, not handguns and not assault rifles. They’ve even gone so far as to suggest that if more people were carrying concealed weapons, particularly in schools which are fast becoming the targets of armed madmen, then these bloodbaths would come to an abrupt halt.

It’s an expected position for this powerful lobby to have taken, of course, and, just as expectedly, one that’s enraged not only the gaming industry and some of Hollywood’s most bloodthirsty writers and directors, but gun control advocates worldwide.

However, despite the admittedly ugly specter of schools becoming heavily policed fortresses in our near future, there’s some indication that the NRA might just be right…

ADAM LANZA FACT SHEET: Falsehoods & Fatal Assumptions

The degree of intentional misrepresentation of the facts in the Sandy Hook Massacre by mainstream media outlets is simply mindboggling.

 

For instance, a hypothesis put forth by a young marine in which he thought he was paraphrasing his father, a pastor in Newtown Connecticut, was quickly debunked by that pastor himself, who denied his son's theory that Nancy Lanza was trying to commit Adam Lanza soon and, thus, this was the psycho's motive for dressing up as a character from Call of Duty and going on the rampage.

 

The pastor's prompt protest to FOX's so called "exclusive" scoop of his son's hearsay as "fact" was ignored of course, and, by today, this version is being offered across the globe as the sole "logical" explanation behind a baby killer's slaughter of unarmed women and children.

 

That a person so mentally deranged is clearly incapable of logical thinking doesn't seem to deter the mainstream press from asserting that looney Lanza was suddenly lucid in his final hours--even though his crime itself is obviously senseless and speaks volumes about the coward's disordered thinking.

 

In this same vein, the media's relentless characterization of a renowned scholastic failure as a "boy genius" is not only utterly laughable and an insult to intelligence, but dangerous encouragement to those copycat losers who hope to see themselves also falsely glorified.

 

Keep in mind, this lazy numbskull didn't even graduate from high school, and years later his alleged and brief stint with undergrad studies produced only a 3.26 grade-point average. A score mostly lifted by the computer-obsessed killer's A+ in one of his computer classes.

 

Sorry, a box of rocks exhibits far more wherewithal, integrity, and substance than this moronic monster ever did. Between the two, I vote for the box of rocks as the genius then. 

 

Smashing a computer is not too brilliant either

 

On this tactic it must be noted that investigators have yet to announce that it was indeed dumbhead Lanza who destroyed his computer in order to cover his online criminality. 

 

In the meantime, consider that it's not impossible his mother, upon returning from a three-day visit with her family in New Hampshire, had simply lost it when she discovered that during this entire period her game-addicted idiot of a son hadn't eaten or slept whilst playing Call of Duty, or some such single-shooting nutter program of his.

 

Many a misguided parent driven to their limits has destroyed computers and gaming consoles (whichever) in one final act of desperation, only to end up with their skull smashed in. Or, if their son was a hopelessly weak little weasel, blown to smithereens as they lay in bed sleeping.

 

Why? Because scientists have discovered that these violent videogames are as addicting as drugs or alcohol, so simply taking them away from someone so completely zonked out on them, as Lanza was, is only inviting more trouble.

 

As to the destruction of his computer's hard drive serving to completely foil a full exploration of Lanza's digital footprint: That's naïve thinking at best. Besides, from the little that is known already, skilled investigators can easily piece the rest together.

 

The so called Sandy Hook connection

 

(Yawn.) Teachers and parents in this district have emphatically and consistently denied any official relationship between Nancy Lanza and the Newtown school system. Period.

 

Are all these people lying?

 

Or is it more likely that twisted Adam Lanza gamed himself over the brink of psychosis, of which he'd been teetering for years, and was simply looking to kill people he knew for a fact would be totally defenseless?

 

After all, as soon as real "players" showed up at the Sandy Hook school, the spineless nitwit cowered out by committing suicide rather than fight them.

 

As all of his kind does when actually confronted by armed resistance.

 

Summary (again)

 

1. No motive here but insanity, any which way you look at it;

2. Uneducated, dingbat, gaming slouch on the warpath is not a "genius" by any means;

3. Only weak-minded sissies dress in killer costumes and target babies and females instead of real soldiers in uniform.

4. Killing unarmed civilians and little kids, and using your mommy's gun to do it with, fails the manhood test.

5. Ditto for sitting around all day playing silly-assed games on the computer.

NOTE: Today's update on the tragic events in Newtown Connecticut this week supplement the other earlier posts below this one, as well as the special Crime Magazine article referenced above. For any readers who are not fully familiar with this developing story, please be sure to read those pieces too.

 

Women and Children First

It's notable that there were no adult males killed in the Sandy Hook Massacre on December 14th 2012, and some are suggesting that this might not be just a coincidence--even the children who were mercilessly butchered by Adam Lanza were mostly girls.

 

Violence against women and children is on the rise this century, both here and abroad, and, while not all mass shooters display such discriminating 'tastes' in selecting their victims, it's not unlikely that Adam Lanza did.

 

In fact, some sources say there is no indication that the disturbed youth targeted any male staff members in the school rampage, and that it's possible many of the younger male victims were actually shot when they panicked and fled from a hiding place that one of their (female) teachers had hastily secured for them.

 

That brave young woman was gunned down placing her body between the children and the shooter, by the way. As were all six of the adult females slain on this gruesome day.

 

Where, then, were all the adult males when this slaughter was in progress? Well, nobody's really saying.

 

And Superman, Thor, the Hulk, and Captain America...?

All of them also missing in action.

 

But with or without the protection of men, the overall safety and security of society's "most vulnerable" members is a pretty fair measure of just how "civilized" a civilization actually is.

 

If women and children and not safe from criminals when alone in their homes, if they're not safe in their public schools, if they're not safe on their neighborhood sidewalks, or in parking lots and shopping malls and grocery stores and movie theatres...well, that says an awful lot about the state of their nation.

 

And what it's saying isn't very positive.

Patently False

 

Media sources continue to falsely report that the principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School unwittingly allowed demented Adam Lanza into the building by overriding the brand new security system for him. 

 

The system in question is designed to activate an automatic lockdown of all the building's exits and entrances at 9:30 AM when morning classes are usually scheduled to commence.

 

Not only does it defy logic that the principal would deactivate this built in safety feature for a masked intruder, but it does a grave injustice to this selfless and courageous woman who knowingly sacrificed her own life by lunging at the gunman when he broke in.

 

In short, it's very clear that the principal did everything humanly possible to prevent Adam Lanza from gaining access to the children under her watch and care, many of whom were at that moment assembling in the auditorium and in various nearby classrooms.

 

In her desperate effort, the school's principal was aided by the school's psychologist, and both of these women were gunned down together in "execution style" in the main hallway.

 

So, in reality, investigators think Lanza probably arrived a few minutes too late to simply walk into the school unnoticed, and, thus, shattered the glass near the main entrance by calculatingly spraying it in a hail of bullets from his semi-automatic rifle.

 

They also theorize the attack was preplanned and that the heavily armed shooter may have been targeting those two particular female staffers anyway, as he reportedly had an "altercation" with them and two others just the day before, when he first attempted to illegally enter the facility.

 

These four staffers had succeeded in barring Lanza on that occasion, and so the deranged young man returned on the next day instead, with a vengeance.

 

Although Adam Lanza probably had a concealed weapon with him the day before, when he did come back again police say he was armed to the teeth, having already shot to death his mother in her bedroom, apparently while the woman was sleeping.

 

Not incidentally, the fourth female of the group that had evicted Lanza the day before the massacre survived the subsequent mass shooting event only because she hadn't actually come to work that day.

 

Not much else is known about this major fracas at this time however, because authorities are still investigating the incident.

 

Social Equality & Sociopaths

 

Someday soon, as a result of all this much-too-frequent bloodshed, and as a result of more women and children now being without a male for whom they think they can rely on daily for protection, males and females will begin to be socialized from birth in the exact same way.

 

But, until then, they're not: By and large, most females are still raised to be submissive and their male counterparts are still being raised to be aggressive--ideally as breadwinners and protectors of women and children, rather than their predators.

 

Which is to say, that the next time an event of this grievous nature occurs, (and it will) hopefully the males nearby will do more than just flee and hide with the children.

 

Because the heroics the women of Sandy Hook exhibited under fire, such as rushing the shooter to tackle and disarm him, were precisely what must be done in such extreme situations. And these acts are best performed all at once, without hesitation, and as a group rather than individually or in pairs.

 

Men too, are still much taller and stronger than women are, and although the fight or flight mode in both sexes is very strong, and the flight instinct most commonly the one that is  triggered under stress, a little training is all that is required to correct the mistaken belief that running away from a gunman is "safer".

 

In fact, running away is what that weak-minded, and very often weak-bodied, young man wants people to do. That way he not only feels more powerful than he usually does in "real life", but he can kill at liberty and in far greater numbers.

 

As was the case with 20-year-old mad gamer and psychopath, Adam Lanza.

 

Talking About Talking

 

A choked up President Obama is visiting the desecrated town of Newton, Connecticut today to offer the thousands of victims of this most recent act of senseless brutality his condolences, support, and some solace.

 

In addition, Obama has publicly vowed to open a "meaningful" dialog now about guns and violence, particularly as it pertains to the rising crime wave among the young and these now-commonplace mass assaults.

 

Discussing discussions is a good start, of course, but advocates for gun control will be the first to say that it's also a long overdue move, with too many dead having piled up during an inordinate and unjustified delay.

 

What's more, if these proposed talks fail to address the role of violent videogames in this surge of violence, and if the billion-dollar gaming industry itself is not also forced to come to the table, this will all be for naught.

 

Remember, Klebold and Harris, Jared Loughner, James Holmes, Adam Lanza...all these young mass murderers and many, many more just like them were violent video-gamers. All of these dangerous psychopaths methodically trained as expert marksmen via simulated single-shooter programs and a "harmless" little joystick.
